About the attorney
An advocate for people facing the courts at the hardest moments of their lives.
When someone calls a lawyer, it is rarely a good day. A criminal charge, a call from children services, or a foreclosure notice can upend everything at once.
Linda Gabriele has built her Lima practice around those moments. Her work focuses on criminal law, juvenile dependency procedures, and appeals in Ohio state and federal courts. She defends people charged with felonies and misdemeanors, stands with parents and relatives in juvenile dependency and guardianship cases, and helps clients facing foreclosure, bankruptcy, real estate, and other consumer problems.
Advocacy has been the thread from the start. Before law school she studied communication at Ohio Northern University. At ONU's Pettit College of Law she was drawn to criminal law early, serving as vice president of the Criminal Law Society, arbitrating cases in the Criminal Dispute Resolution Program, and arguing on the Moot Court Board of Advocates. She also taught high school students their legal rights through Street Law.
That mix of courtroom advocacy and clear explanation still shapes how she works with clients today.
